Study Choice Program
Bonaire

5 and 6 November 2026

You will be guided during the activities by professional study advisors and Caribbean students with their own experiences.

You will actively work on the following questions:

  • What will I do after my exam? Which course is right for me?
  • Do I want to study or do I opt for a gap year first?
  • Where will I study? Do I stay, do I go to the Netherlands or to another country?
  • What do I still want to find out and what do I need to arrange?

During the various parts, you will learn more about yourself and your possibilities, and how you can make a conscious choice that suits you.

The program at school

Educational theatre

During the theater performance, the story of the actors makes you think about your own future and your dreams and what that path can look like for you.

Workshop Kickstart Study Choice

During this workshop you will learn about your dreams, interests and talents, and the professions and education that may suit you. You will come up with an action plan to be able to continue making a conscious choice of education.

During the workshop, we work with the ‘Talent Game’, the workbook ‘How do I choose a program’ and program overviews of the 11 universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands, University of Curaçao and University of Aruba.

Workshop Student Journey

During this workshop you will get an idea of studying and life in the Netherlands, what you are still curious about, how students experience it and whether it suits you.

Study choice interviews

You can register with your dean for a study choice interview with a study choice coach from higher education.
