Network of Deans

The Caribbean Network of Deans brings together school counsellors from the Caribbean part of the Kingdom to share knowledge, collaborate and strengthen student guidance.

The network was launched in 2025 and provides a platform where deans of the six islands can exchange experiences, discuss common challenges, and develop strategies to improve the study success of Caribbean students.

Objectives of the network:

The network aims to:

  • Strengthening cooperation between school counsellors in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom
  • Share professional knowledge and experience
  • Better coordination of study guidance on the islands
  • Better support for students during the transition to further education

Through this collaboration, deans can further develop their guidance and contribute to better preparation of students for their studies.

What does the network do?

Within the network, school counsellors work together on:

  • Exchanging best practices and experiences.
  • Peer learning en mentorschap tussen decanen.
  • Sharing tools and information about study choice and student well-being.
  • Developing joint strategies to improve student success.

The deans meet online about every five weeks to share knowledge and experiences.
