The Caribbean Healthcare Symposium 2025 brings together healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers from across the Caribbean and the Netherlands to address one of the region’s most pressing challenges: noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.

Under the theme “From Prevention to Empowerment”, the symposium explores how lifestyle medicine, medical interventions, and ongoing research can support healthier futures for Caribbean communities. Participants will gain insight into the epidemiology of NCDs, lifestyle medicine, and learn from innovative research currently being conducted on the islands
