Kingdom Scholarship
Are you a student living in Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Sint Maarten or the Netherlands and do you want to do an internship or study exchange in another part of the Kingdom? Then you may be eligible for the Kingdom Scholarship.
What is the Kingdom Scholarship?
The Kingdom Scholarship is a financial contribution for students from Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Sint Maarten and the Netherlands who want to do an internship or study exchange in another part of the Kingdom.
This scholarship stimulates international experience within the Kingdom and gives students the opportunity to enrich their studies in a different educational and cultural context.
The scholarship supports travel, accommodation, and living expenses, among other things.
The exchange lasts a minimum of 21 days and a maximum of 6 months and is awarded per semester by lottery.
Who is the scholarship for?
The scholarship is designed for students who:
- Studying at MBO/SBO level 3 or 4, HBO or WO.
- Be enrollled in a recognized educational institution and follow a full-time program.
- Do an internship or study exchange that is part of their education.
- Have obtained all credits for their first year of study at the time the application is submitted.

How to apply?
The implementation of the Kingdom Scholarship is the responsibility of the Rijksdienst Caribisch Nederland.
